With the launch of its new healthcare payment card, AXA Global Healthcare is taking a big step toward giving its members access to digital wallets where they can conveniently store and retrieve their belongings in case they need to use their overseas health insurance coverage.

It can be added to members' digital wallets, which are available on the top mobile wallet providers, Apple Pay and Google Pay, as a virtual healthcare payment card.

In fact, studies conducted across the memberships of AXA Global Healthcare have shown that the majority of claims filed abroad are self-paid and of significantly low value. Selected corporate groups have been encouraged to register and create a virtual card as part of the card's initial deployment. There is no need to get in touch with AXA Global Healthcare once the card is generated and active—it may be added straight to a digital wallet.

Members merely need to upload an invoice to their AXA - Global Healthcare Card app in order to complete any administrative tasks.

As the implementation is still in its early phases, AXA Global Healthcare can start gauging the service's effectiveness and improving it before launching it fully to a larger user base.
