The Mastercard contactless credit card with an integrated fingerprint sensor has been launched by Garanti BBVA in Turkey.
Customers using the Bonus Platinum Biometric Card tap a contactless terminal and place their finger on the sensor to make a purchase. Additionally, users have the option to add a password requirement.
Deputy General Manager of Garanti BBVA, Murat Çağrı Süzer, states: "With the Bonus Platinum Biometric Card, users may swiftly and conveniently make secure payments by just scanning their fingerprints. They don't need to set up contactless limitations or have to recall their PINs."
Additionally, Garanti BBVA has received an operational license for its new payments solutions platform subsidiary from the Turkish Central Bank.
Under the TAMİ brand, Garanti Payment and Electronic Money Service is getting ready to launch a beta version of its digital payment solutions. With TAMİ, Turkish companies of all sizes will be able to effortlessly receive, track, and provide installment payment choices to their clients that use any bank.
