PayPal names Geoff Seeley as CMO of CashApp.

Geoff Seeley has joined PayPal Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: PYPL) as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He will report to Diego Scotti, who is the Executive Vice President (EVP) and General Manager (GM) of the Consumer Group and Global Marketing & Communications.

Seeley has over 25 years of experience in performance, digital, and global brand marketing. She has also built teams to advance revolutionary marketing strategies. Seeley most recently served as CashApp and Afterpay's global CMO and communications officer.

Seeley will be in charge of managing the Global Marketing group for all of PayPal's brands, including Venmo. Seeley will be responsible for ensuring that PayPal and Venmo's value propositions are understandable, appealing, and easy for users to navigate. Additionally, he will concentrate on revitalizing the PayPal and Venmo brands by utilizing the business's inventive past, robust product line, and ongoing efforts to foster client confidence.

Seeley has prior experience working on Airbnb's Homes division, where he was responsible for brand alliances, worldwide media, regional brand marketing, product marketing, marketing analytics, and research. Seeley also held the position of Global Communications Planning Director at Unilever, where he assisted established, legacy brands in modernizing their marketing strategies and technological platforms to enhance the customer experience with their brands.

With effect from today, February 26, 2024, Seeley will take on the position of Chief Marketing Officer.
