Opaala and EasyTip Collaborate to Eliminate Customer Tip Payment Delays and Boost Transparency

A new collaboration between EasyTip, a cashless tipping network, and Opaala, a cloud-based platform located in the United Arab Emirates, allows patrons of restaurants, cafés, bars, lounges, hotels, and movie theaters to make payments straight from their smartphones.

Recruitment and churn concerns are being caused by payment delays and a lack of clarity around who receives consumer tips in crucial areas like beauty services and hospitality. In fact, it's projected that tips are collected and distributed in the United Arab Emirates for over AED 5 billion annually, adding at least AED 200 million to the running expenses of enterprises.

EasyTip's tips distribution and collecting systems have been integrated into Opaala's digital menu and pay-at-table platform as part of a partnership between the two companies to solve these challenges and promote equitable tipping habits throughout the United Arab Emirates.


Through EasyTip's distribution network, Opaala's current and potential clients can now gather and give tips directly to each employee. By utilizing EasyTip, hospitality organizations may increase the amount of tips collected, empower staff members with unmatched openness regarding tip distribution and payouts, and realize significant operational cost savings.

Recognizing customer feedback

Clients will also receive a special set of data analytics on team performance, customer feedback, and expenditure thanks to the integration of Opaala and EasyTip. In return, tip receivers will have quicker payment times and have access to the EasyTip app, which will allow them to track all tips and payouts. The Easytip and Opaala relationship is active and operational at several Dubai locations, including Nightjar.

In total, the connection will enable over 20,000 hospitality employees in the UAE to receive tips more quickly and openly. It will be accessible to over 1500 hospitality clients that utilize both platforms.
