According to a story from Business News Wales, the Thomas Carroll Group, an independent insurance, risk, and WealthTech group, has named renowned insurance broker David Whittaker as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).
David Whittaker joins Thomas Carroll Group with a plethora of expertise. His experience covers a wide range of important aspects of insurance brokerage and risk management. He was the first COO of Marsh UK's National Corporate Practice and the COO of Aon's UK Retail Business.
He oversees the group's succession planning strategy at Thomas Carroll, develops future leaders through mentoring, and improves the EOT framework for the good of staff, clients, and the business as a whole.
David Whittaker conveyed his excitement for his new position, highlighting the company's distinct position and his desire to help it succeed. "As Thomas Carroll is such a well-known and respected name in the insurance industry, I jumped at the chance to consider the COO post," he said. The company has big development aspirations and recently underwent a transition to employee ownership, so I felt my wealth of change management knowledge may be quite helpful in this situation.
