HeirWealth, a wealthtech startup located in Sydney that aims to improve the intergenerational financial conversations in high net worth families, has activated open banking data sharing technologies through the use of Envestnet | Yodlee, a worldwide financial aggregator.

Family investors and their professional advisors can monitor assets and liabilities across 40 different classes on the HeirWealth platform. These include non-traditional assets like collectibles and classic investments like shares and real estate.

The HeirWealth app is connected to 20,000 financial institutions worldwide, including the Envestnet | Yodlee interface. These connections can instantly combine into the wealth registration platform.

Ray Tubman, the founder and CEO of HeirWealth, stated, "This integration allows continuous daily asset valuations for banking and investment products which, when fused with our market data feeds, provides our customers with richer platform experiences."

Mr. Tubman went on, "The HeirWealth platform offers straightforward yet effective wealth tracking that enables individuals, families, and professional advisers to organise everything together in one place."

This covers "assets of passion" like fine wine, antiques, and collectibles, in addition to more conventional investments like term deposits, shares, and real estate, as well as alternative investments like private equity. In order to chronicle your family's history and legacy and ensure that it is kept for future generations, you can even upload images from your phone and annotate them, according to Mr. Tubman.

In Australia and the UK, family offices and individual families can download the HeirWealth app directly. Financial advisors, wealth managers, accountants, attorneys, and other professionals can also white-label it as an additional tool for client engagement and retention.
HeirWealth has access to open banking data as a client of international financial aggregator Envestnet | Yodlee through Australia's Consumer Data Right(“CDR”).

Taner Uzelakcil, Director of Enterprise Business Development A/NZ at Envestnet | Yodlee, expressed his excitement about how open banking and data aggregation could simplify wealth management for Australian families going forward.

HeirWealth claims that the fully digital "whole-of-wealth" view promotes deeper interpersonal connections and chances for meaningful participation with the next generation, in addition to streamlining wealth tracking in a single center.

"We had to rely on bits of paper to find out that my father had shares and multiple bank accounts when he passed away," Mr. Tubman said.

"There will be a lot more difficulties with the upcoming intergenerational wealth transfer. Centralizing information in a safe spot like HeirWealth is a terrific idea, he continued, whether you want to have those talks right away or later.
The HeirWealth app provides daily valuations of more than 150,000 international financial products across 160 global exchanges, is compatible with PC and mobile devices, and has ISO 27001 certification.
