Morocco Will See the Launch of an Education Outreach Program by Binance Academy and the Blockchain Center

The Blockchain Center, a global research lab, and ENSET-Université Hassan II de Casablanca are collaborating with Binance Academy, a free educational platform that teaches individuals about cryptocurrencies, to expand the Global University Outreach Program (GUOP) to Morocco.

By adding a blockchain engineering course to the university located in Casablanca, Morocco, Binance Academy and Blockchain Center hope to transform the educational landscape for blockchain technology.

With a strong emphasis on compliance education and blockchain engineering, the effort hopes to instruct more than a million pupils worldwide by 2026.

"As blockchain technology anchors its importance across diverse sectors, it is our privilege to spearhead this movement, ensuring that students are equipped with top-notch education," stated Mahmoud Jawwad, global business development at Binance Academy.

"This partnership is evidence of our shared commitment to advancing blockchain knowledge and developing the next wave of industry innovators."

at partnership with Binance Academy, The Blockchain Center first introduced GUOP at 22 colleges in Kazakhstan. As of right now, the program is present in over 200 universities across 50 countries.

"Expanding our program to Université Hassan II de Casablanca allows us to cultivate an atmosphere conducive for curious students to explore, innovate, and experiment in the field of blockchain technology," said Aigerim Gilmanova, head of education initiatives at the Blockchain Center.

Participation in specialized 10-week online Blockchain Engineering training programs for university lecturers will be allowed at ENSET-Université Hassan II de Casablanca. This cooperative effort contributes significantly to the creation of an extensive academic knowledge base that facilitates the seamless integration of compliance and blockchain engineering courses into the university's curriculum.
 

Speaking on behalf of ENSET-Université Hassan II de Casablanca, Professor Omar Bouattane added: "This relationship coincides with our mission to remain at the forefront of technological progress and educate our students with skills that will be useful in the future. We hope to actively support GUOP's success and expand the field of blockchain education globally.
