On March 4, 2024, LEAP, the technological event with the goal of promoting the development and diversification of Saudi Arabia's economy, will make its third appearance in Riyadh. Attendance is expected to shatter all previous records.

The four-day LEAP 2024 event will now be held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, with an increased emphasis on generative artificial intelligence (AI).

"With a laser focus on AI, its myriad applications, and transformative advancements, LEAP 2024 is a continuation that will catapult the global tech industry into an elevated realm that is overflowing with untapped potential and unique experiences," said Michael Champion, CEO of the event organizer Tahaluf.

LEAP 2024, which is being held in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is expected to draw in over 170,000 visitors.

With the expanded capacity of the new location, LEAP 2024 anticipates hosting more than 1,800 exhibitors in addition to a diverse mix of more than 800 local and international specialists. These professionals will contribute to seven new content elements, including AI, sustainability, gaming, space, cybersecurity, future workforce, and digital twins, in addition to 15 content tracks that highlight cutting-edge innovation frontiers.

Reentering this year is DeepFest, which is co-located with LEAP and organized in collaboration with the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). More than 120 firms have already committed to taking part. In addition to showcasing the most recent advancements through an exhibition showcasing some of the leading international tech companies advancing AI innovation, the 2024 edition will reveal government-led AI initiatives.

On LEAP's main speaker platform, more than 130 celebrities and C-suite changemakers will take center stage. Discussions will follow a four-part pattern, Impulse, Accelerate, Momentum, and LEAP, which is in line with ideation, business, and personal growth.

"The keynote address will offer motivational perspectives on the fascinating development of the technology industry and its significance for people, safety, and welfare," Champion continued. International IT leaders, multinational corporations, politicians, elite athletes, and everyone in between will be on this lineup. Together, they will investigate how the social security industry is growing as a result of exponential technology and look for ways to shape digital rights for the benefit of the current and upcoming generations.

As of right now, the confirmed keynote lineup includes:

  • Elizabeth Adams was the chief AI ethics and culture advisor at the Standford Institute for Human-Centered AI before becoming an affiliate fellow.
