PayPoint to simplify donations to East Anglian Air Ambulance

PayPoint today announced that they would take over as the main payment partner for EAAA, ushering in a new age of cooperation and innovation in offering a variety of payment options to assist improving lottery campaigns, fundraising, and donor experiences.

The EAAA will implement payment solutions such as Virtual Payment Terminals, Direct Debit, MultiPay, new card terminals, and Merchant IDs as part of the partnership's first phase of rollout, which starts in March 2024. This will also allow for the future use of accepting recurring card payments for lottery players and donors.

The program's second phase of rollout, which is scheduled to start in June 2024, will involve the implementation of Open Banking and a trial of PayPoint's Cash In service, which enables community workers and volunteers to deposit cash from EAAA fundraising events and initiatives into the PayPoint UK retail network.

 

Through a greater range of donation options, the partnership will enable EAAA to offer its supporters a wider range of donation options. Additionally, the PayPoint MultiPay solution will improve the efficiency of EAAAA's reconciliation and streamline the donation process, saving significant time and money.

PayPoint is pleased to assist the EAAA in their fundraising efforts so that they can carry on saving lives by implementing a number of payment solutions.

The EAAA has participated in over 30,000 lifesaving missions since it started operations in 2000, saving the lives of thousands of people. In order to continue developing and providing our life-saving service, EAAA needs to raise around £19 million this year. As a result, we are looking for new technologies that could make the contribution process more efficient. We are eager to carry out this partnership's initial phase and anticipate completing the program in June.
