Sharma has been a key leader in some of the leading financial and banking organizations in the globe for the past 20 years. After holding positions at Standard Chartered and Citi, Sharma joined Mastercard in 2015.

Sharma currently oversees the P&L for a number of company verticals, including retailers, telecoms, governments, fintechs, and digital companies in 80 markets in her capacity as EVP of Market Development (EMEA). She also oversees the region's strategy, pricing, analytics, and M&A departments.

Prior to this, Sharma oversaw Mastercard's North American product and innovation organization, establishing a competitive and long-lasting difference for both the business and its clients.

Sharma is a fervent supporter of social empowerment and gender parity for women. She lectures at over 30 conferences a year. At the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), Sharma also has a master's degree.
