Continued emphasis on acquisitive growth

United Fintech, founded in 2020, is a neutral Digital Transformation Platform for the financial services industry that remains at the forefront of innovation by bringing engineering-led fintechs from Capital Markets, Wholesale Banking, and Wealth Management under one umbrella. United Fintech has purchased five fintech companies in less than four years, including Athena Systems ("Athena"). With Athena founder Luis Otero becoming CTO of United Fintech and United Fintech partner Marc Levin named as the new CEO of Athena in Madrid, United Fintech is making a significant investment to expanding the operations of the pioneering US-Spanish fintech.

"My role at Athena will be to grow the buy-side business both organically and through acquisitions, leveraging United Fintech's M&A skills. Athena has grown tremendously in recent years, and our strategic discussions with new investors have validated our strong belief in its product portfolio and the extension of United Fintech's buy-side pillar," says Marc Levin, CEO of Athena.

Troels O. Lindblad, the CFO of United Fintech, says, "We see a significant, untapped opportunity set in a market that keeps growing fuelled by megatrends which will drive a continued consolidation within software vendors to the financial industry. We are now more than ever positioned to capitalise on this."

"United Fintech wants to have a big impact on the market. Rasmus Bagger, CCO of United Fintech, concludes, "Our neutral industry platform is essential for Financial Services, and I'm committed to developing our commercial framework, fostering growth, and providing value to the sector and our clients.
