Leading provider of AI-powered workplace safety solutions, intenseye, has closed a Series B investment round, successfully raising $64 million.

According to Pulse 2.0, current investors Insight Partners, Point Nine, and Air Street Capital participated in the funding led by new investor Lightspeed Venture Partners.

In order to expand its services to insurance clients, the firm partnered with AXA XL in 2021. It already works closely with many insurers.

In addition to Sumitomo, The Hartford, and USI, intenseye's partner roster also shows its dedication to collaborating with other insurance industry players.

The company has advanced significantly over the last 12 months, showcasing its aptitude for anticipatory threat identification and broadening its global reach to six continents.

Its enterprise-ready computer vision AI technology, which offers continuous monitoring of key indicators in workplace safety, is the foundation of its solution. These markers, which are frequently missed in manual audits, are essential for spotting risky behaviors or circumstances that come before illnesses or injuries related to the job.

Intenseye's technology enables environmental, health, and safety (EHS) teams to implement significant improvements that improve productivity, maintain compliance, and prevent workplace mishaps. Last year, the company detected over 36 million indicators for its customers.

With the additional funding, intenseye will be able to improve its technological ecosystem even more, adding mobile support and large language models (LLMs) to maximize a range of use cases.

"The breadth, depth, and expenses of workplace incidents are increasing quickly, highlighting the critical need for AI-driven solutions that help identify and mitigate hazards while aligning to the highest standards of accuracy, privacy, and enterprise readiness," stated Sercan Esen, CEO of intenseye.

"Intenseye is more than just a 'nice to have,'" we say, taking pride in leading a long-overdue revolution that will enable EHS leaders to safeguard their frontline staff more successfully and economically. We take great pride in the fact that eminent clients like Google and other Fortune 500 trailblazers depend on intenseye to revolutionize workplace safety throughout their establishments.

"We stand out for our dedication to the moral AI tenet of privacy-by-design, which helps safeguard employees' emotional security while offering unmatched defense for their physical security," he said.

Air Street Capital partner Nathan Benaich continued, saying, "intenseye is an exemplary AI-first company." The group identified and exploited a real-world issue that is costing companies hundreds of billions of dollars while remaining hidden. With intenseye, you can add 24/7 safety intelligence to current, underutilized camera assets and generate significant change in the way workforces around the world are served. We take great pride in having helped Sercan and his group from the beginning of their endeavors.
