IBM's CEO, Arvind Krishna, has urged India to develop sovereign capability in artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure its rapid adoption in critical sectors. He highlighted that countries like the US and China already have national AI infrastructures, while others such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK, France, and Germany are making significant investments in the field.
